This role is central to advancing strategic growth through mergers and acquisitions. The associate will help identify potential acquisition targets, conduct due diligence, and support the preparation and execution of transaction documentation through to closing.
Key Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end M&A activities, from initial prospecting to final transaction completion.
- Lead integration efforts for acquired businesses, ensuring alignment with operational and strategic goals.
- Evaluate financial performance using data analysis to uncover areas for optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain continuity during transitions.
- Offer insights on commercial strategies and operational improvements.
- Track and report on post-integration KPIs to measure success.
- Advise leadership with data-driven recommendations on potential deals.
Qualifications
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline, along with 3–4 years of relevant experience. Strong analytical abilities, particularly in interpreting financial statements, are essential. The role requires independent judgment, clear communication, and effective problem-solving. Fluency in English is required, and candidates must be prepared to travel frequently—approximately 50% of the time—across Europe and internationally. The ideal candidate is equally effective working autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.
