Responsibilities
- Manage the vehicle transportation network from terminal plants to various markets
- Create and optimize the transportation network between terminal plants and customer countries
- Perform analysis using various data to determine modes of transport, frequencies, and necessity of issuing a Transport RFQ
- Issue Transport RFQs and analyze carrier responses to select carrier/flow
- Define the vehicle transport network within assigned country between local terminal plants and dealerships, compounds and dealerships
- Issue Transport RFQs for creation and optimization of local flows
- Support plant flow analyst in selecting appropriate routes/passage points based on market knowledge
Requirements
- Experience as a Network Designer (ND)
- Ability to manage vehicle transportation networks
- Experience in analyzing transportation data to determine transport modes and frequencies
- Experience in issuing and reviewing Transport RFQs
- Knowledge of local markets to support route and passage point selection
