Responsibilities
- Conduct testing on translated versions of software to confirm language, functionality, and interface correctness
- Detect and document localization defects, including mistranslations and UI inconsistencies, with clear, repeatable steps
- Maintain accuracy in spelling, grammar, word choice, tone, variable implementation, and cultural relevance
- Suggest or apply corrections to language-related issues directly within text management tools when permitted
- Contribute to the verification of glossaries and style guides during quality assessment phases
- Adhere to established test procedures and assist in developing and refining test cases
- Help assess localization output according to official platform standards, approved terminology, and brand guidelines
- Analyze reported localization issues or player feedback, assist in reproducing bugs, and escalate confirmed problems
- Engage in team meetings, bug prioritization sessions, and QA milestone evaluations
- Remain updated on project-specific terminology and act as a language expert for Russian
