Responsibilities
- Collaborates with sales and warehouse teams to align asset and staff planning with customer requirements.
- Shares pickup and delivery details accurately with driver supervisors.
- Resolves loading and equipment challenges in coordination with warehouse personnel.
- Partners with customer service to secure necessary equipment for timely shipments.
- Relays shipment schedules and delivery instructions to transportation carriers.
- Plans freight assignments and equipment deployment to maximize financial returns.
- Works alongside driver managers to fulfill on-time delivery commitments.
- Maintains clear communication with shippers and support teams regarding service delays or disruptions.
- Projects freight volume needs by region for planning purposes.
- Supports driver managers in meeting drivers’ scheduled home time expectations.
- Performs additional tasks as directed by management.
Compensation
This role is eligible for the company’s quarterly bonus plan; bonus amounts vary and are subject to program terms and conditions.
