Responsibilities
- Complete assigned IT projects within set deadlines
- Collaborate with business teams to enhance their processes
- Enhance team productivity and efficiency
- Contribute to the strategic planning of future systems
- Resolve technical issues reported by plant staff
- Provide ongoing support for production issues, including on-call duties
- Implement best practices in live operations and optimize application usage
- Identify and address business pain points through research and documentation
- Execute IT system projects in collaboration with the business team
- Assist with documentation and training for new system implementations
- Visit live operation sites to work directly with users and troubleshoot reported issues
- Perform additional tasks as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience with pork and/or poultry live operations
- Comprehensive knowledge of live operations, including feed mills, farms, hatcheries, and swine farms
- Ability to perform job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
- Familiarity with MTech Systems, Pig Champ, SAP
- Proficiency in IT tools such as Excel, SQL, and ticketing systems
- Strong technical skills and project management experience
