Andworx is hiring a Linux Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Create and evaluate technical solutions in a lab setting, then coordinate with operations teams for production deployment.
• Architect, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise-level IT systems that satisfy functional, technical, security, and performance criteria.
• Deploy authorized solutions into live production environments.
• Apply operating system patches, Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), and updates to Linux systems.
• Conduct routine backup procedures for Linux servers.
• Determine appropriate technical solutions aligned with defined system requirements.
• Formulate and assess system requirements and usage scenarios.
• Produce and update documentation including requirements specifications, design blueprints, test strategies, deployment plans, and administrative guides.
• Work closely with project members and stakeholders to ensure clear and consistent communication.

Other

• The selected candidate will join the Systems Engineering Team to support a law enforcement division within the Department of Justice.
• Applicant must be eligible to acquire and retain a security clearance as mandated by the customer.
