The Role
You will drive open technology adoption across European energy infrastructure by cultivating relationships with system operators, regulators, and policymakers to deliver sustainable, reliable energy solutions. This position involves translating technical capabilities into strategic business value, identifying regulatory obstacles, and creating pathways for organizational contributions. Your work combines strategic engagement with hands-on execution, including workshop organization, conference representation, community facilitation, and technical development oversight.
This is a two-year, full-time position reporting to the Executive Leadership, with potential extension based on performance and funding availability.
Location and Work Arrangements
Remote position based in Europe. Role requires extensive European travel (up to 30%) for stakeholder engagement, with potential flexible working hours to collaborate across global teams.
Responsibilities
Community Growth & Engagement
- Develop relationships with transmission and distribution system operators
- Lead community events and training sessions
- Deliver industry presentations
- Create educational programs to lower technological adoption barriers
Policy & Advocacy
- Spearhead regulatory advocacy efforts
- Build relationships with policymakers
- Identify and address open-source adoption barriers
Program Management
- Oversee funded European initiatives
- Facilitate stakeholder decision-making processes
Communications & Reporting
- Amplify community achievements
- Analyze and report community growth metrics
Qualifications
Required:
- Established European energy sector network
- Ability to communicate complex technological value propositions
- Technical expertise in energy systems and digital technologies
- Exceptional communication skills
- Proven stakeholder alignment capabilities

- Comfortable with extensive travel
- English fluency
