About the Role
This role involves delivering individual and family therapy to clients through a secure telehealth platform, conducting clinical assessments, developing treatment plans, and maintaining accurate records in compliance with state and organizational standards.
Responsibilities
- Deliver individual and family counseling via secure telehealth platform
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments
- Develop and update personalized treatment plans
- Maintain timely and confidential electronic health records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in mental health practice
- Provide crisis intervention when necessary
- Engage in ongoing case review and supervision
- Coordinate care with external providers as needed
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Follow documentation and billing protocols
- Respond to client communications within established timeframes
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches
- Support client progress through goal setting and monitoring
- Attend required trainings and professional development sessions
- Uphold client confidentiality and privacy standards
- Conduct intake interviews and initial screenings
- Monitor client outcomes and adjust treatment as needed
- Maintain licensure and continuing education requirements
- Follow agency policies and procedures
Nice to Have
- Three or more years of clinical experience
- Experience working with adolescents and adults
- Specialization in anxiety, depression, or trauma
- Training in cognitive behavioral therapy
- Experience with EMDR or other evidence-based modalities
- Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish)
- Supervisory or preceptor experience
- Familiarity with outcome measurement tools
- Telehealth certification or training
- Published work or presentations in mental health field
