About the Role

This role involves delivering individual and family therapy to clients through a secure telehealth platform, conducting clinical assessments, developing treatment plans, and maintaining accurate records in compliance with state and organizational standards.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver individual and family counseling via secure telehealth platform
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments
  • Develop and update personalized treatment plans
  • Maintain timely and confidential electronic health records
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards in mental health practice
  • Provide crisis intervention when necessary
  • Engage in ongoing case review and supervision
  • Coordinate care with external providers as needed
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
  • Follow documentation and billing protocols
  • Respond to client communications within established timeframes
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches
  • Support client progress through goal setting and monitoring
  • Attend required trainings and professional development sessions
  • Uphold client confidentiality and privacy standards
  • Conduct intake interviews and initial screenings
  • Monitor client outcomes and adjust treatment as needed
  • Maintain licensure and continuing education requirements
  • Follow agency policies and procedures

Nice to Have

  • Three or more years of clinical experience
  • Experience working with adolescents and adults
  • Specialization in anxiety, depression, or trauma
  • Training in cognitive behavioral therapy
  • Experience with EMDR or other evidence-based modalities
  • Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish)
  • Supervisory or preceptor experience
  • Familiarity with outcome measurement tools
  • Telehealth certification or training
  • Published work or presentations in mental health field
