Valera Health is hiring a Licensed Mental Health Associate

Requirements

  • Holding a currently active Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) credential
  • At least one year of direct, individual clinical experience delivering evidence-based therapies
  • Proven experience documenting patient care and developing treatment plans in an electronic medical record (EMR) system
  • Access to dependable technology, including high-speed internet and a private, secure workspace for conducting confidential sessions
  • Openness to obtaining licensure in additional states as needed

Nice to Have

  • Fluency in Spanish, Mandarin, or Cantonese
  • Formal training in specialized therapeutic approaches such as EMDR or DBT
  • Experience providing mental health services via telehealth platforms
  • Self-driven with strong independent work ethic and ability to collaborate effectively within a team
  • Skilled in engaging and assessing a broad range of patient demographics
