About the Role
The Senior Backend Engineer will develop and maintain core backend services that power the platform, focusing on scalable APIs, data management, and real-time communication. This role involves close collaboration with front-end developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure a seamless, reliable user experience at scale.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain robust backend services and APIs with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Implement backend systems that support real-time, two-way communication via WebSockets for browser-based voice interactions.
- Contribute to architectural planning to ensure backend infrastructure is scalable and optimized for high availability under heavy load.
- Develop secure and efficient data storage and processing solutions, prioritizing data integrity, security, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, product teams, and other stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions aligned with product objectives and user needs.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve performance issues in backend systems to improve efficiency and service reliability.
