Responsibilities
- Providing legal advice to the commodity trading and shipping businesses in line with our strategy and values
- Understanding internal and external governance requirements and enabling assisting stakeholders in efficiently navigating them
- Working closely with a team of talented and experienced lawyers within Marketing and the broader Group Legal function to consistently deliver pragmatic advice
- Managing relationships with key external stakeholders, including law firms
Requirements
- Credible legal professional
- Capable of understanding complex transactions and projects across various commodities (e.g. iron ore, copper, nickel)
- Willingness to work autonomously
- Proactive business partnering
- Robust stakeholder engagement within a global, fast-paced sales and trading environment
