About the Role

The role involves managing recruitment processes for legal professionals while providing administrative support, coordinating schedules, and maintaining documentation in a virtual environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end legal staffing recruitment
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate interviews
  • Maintain and update candidate databases
  • Coordinate interview scheduling with hiring attorneys
  • Draft and post job descriptions on legal job boards
  • Follow up with applicants throughout the hiring pipeline
  • Support onboarding for newly hired legal staff
  • Handle confidential personnel and client information securely
  • Assist with calendar management for recruitment team members
  • Prepare recruitment-related reports and performance metrics
  • Respond to recruitment inquiries via email and phone
  • Maintain compliance with employment regulations
  • Organize virtual interview logistics
  • Track candidate progress through applicant tracking system
  • Collaborate with legal team on hiring priorities
  • Update internal documentation for hiring procedures
  • Assist with reference and background checks
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for in-person interviews when needed
  • Manage communication between candidates and legal staff
  • Ensure timely follow-up at all stages of recruitment

Nice to Have

  • Certification in human resources or recruitment
  • Experience working with law firms or legal departments
  • Knowledge of legal industry staffing trends
  • Bilingual communication abilities
  • Experience with legal practice management software
