Support legal operations for civil litigation matters by managing case documentation, court filings, and attorney workflows. This role ensures accuracy and consistency across legal records and communications, serving as a key administrative resource for legal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Input and maintain pleadings, motions, trial materials, and correspondence in the litigation management system.
- Handle case lifecycle tasks—from initial lawsuit intake to case closure—including client notifications, court filings, and coordination with insurers and opposing counsel.
- Monitor and update trial, mediation, and arbitration schedules to ensure timely follow-up and proper documentation.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders, courts, and external parties via phone, email, and formal letters.
- Manage document workflows including scanning, mailing, and digital filing, both in-office and remotely.
- Maintain data integrity in the Team Connect system and troubleshoot administrative issues with a detail-oriented approach.
Qualifications
Successful candidates are highly organized with strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience handling confidential legal information is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 is required, and familiarity with legal databases or case management tools is a plus.
Prior experience in a legal administrative role—particularly in civil litigation—is beneficial but not mandatory. Exposure to law firm or corporate legal environments is advantageous.
