Barco is seeking a Lead Software Development Engineer to join the Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) group within our Platform organization. You will be responsible for designing and building the critical authentication and authorization services that secure our customer-facing platforms.
What You'll Do
- Design scalable microservices for authentication and authorization workflows following OAuth2.0 standards like OpenID Connect and SAML.
- Translate complex business requirements into a resilient and performant data model architecture.
What We're Looking For
- 7 to 10 years of industry experience as a software developer.
- Practical experience running .NET Core on Linux and/or in Docker containers.
- Strong application security fundamentals, including OAuth, hashing, TLS, encryption, digital signatures, and JWT.
- Exposure to cloud services on AWS or Azure.
- Experience working in a Scrum/Agile development methodology.
- Proficiency with Git for version control.
- Experience building and operating a 24x7 SaaS platform.
- Hands-on experience with the MEAN stack.
- Exceptional communication skills, a keen awareness of the latest industry trends, and a highly innovative mindset.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to Azure AD / Azure Entra ID.
