Shape the future of data at a scaling direct-to-consumer brand by leading analytics strategy from day one. In this role, you'll establish the foundation for data-driven decision-making across marketing, product, finance, and operations. You'll define core business metrics, build forecasting models, and ensure alignment across departments on what success looks like.
Key Responsibilities
- Create a unified KPI framework that ties team performance to company-wide goals like revenue growth, retention, and cash flow.
- Develop predictive models for customer lifetime value, churn risk, inventory planning, and cost efficiency.
- Identify early signals of performance changes and build alert systems for critical business risks.
- Lead cross-functional review sessions to track progress, surface insights, and drive accountability.
- Design rigorous testing frameworks for marketing campaigns, pricing changes, and retention initiatives.
- Own the data stack—including warehouse, BI tools, and integrations—to improve accuracy and reduce manual work.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations to embed real-time analytics into daily workflows.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in data analytics or business intelligence within DTC, e-commerce, or consumer brands.
- Deep fluency in key metrics including CAC, LTV, cohort behavior, and contribution margin.
- Strong technical skills in SQL, Python, or R, with hands-on experience in tools like dbt, Looker, or Tableau.
- Experience working with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake or BigQuery.
- Ability to translate complex findings into clear, actionable guidance for non-technical leaders.
- Track record of leading performance reviews and driving alignment across departments.
Why This Role Stands Out
You’ll operate at a strategic level with direct access to executive leadership. This is a rare opportunity to build a data function from the ground up—defining standards, shaping infrastructure, and influencing company direction. The position is fully remote, offering flexibility while working within a US-based time zone. Compensation ranges from $100,000 to $130,000 annually, based on experience.
