Deutsche India Private Limited, Mumbai Branch, is hiring a Lead QA Engineer for Payments within its Post Trade Automation Technology group. You will be responsible for building and managing the QA function for Trade Documentation, Clearing & Settlement lifecycle, and Asset Services across Cash and Securities products. You will act as the primary contact for Business users and the technology team for all aspects of project delivery.
What You'll Do
- Act as the primary contact for Business users and technology teams for all aspects of project delivery.
- Formulate Business Requirement documentation, working closely with Business Users and Tech Leads/Solution architects.
- Develop business requirement definition, documentation, and sign-off.
- Support newly identified conceptual designs and business solution options.
- Resolve functional issues from all testing phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Lead the QA team and manage end-to-end functional delivery, articulating issues and risks to management.
- Design, develop, and deliver complex components of engineering solutions for diverse stakeholders.
- Employ methodological techniques to analyze problems and evaluate multiple solutions.
- Lead and mentor Offshore & Onsite Testing teams, fostering excellence in analysis and communication.
- Create and validate payment messages (ISO 20022, SWIFT MT/MX) and end-to-end payment flows, data reconciliations, and exception handling.
- Deliver first-class engineering solutions while improving delivery standards, practices, and automation adoption.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and E2E testing of payments and drive test automation strategy.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Moderate experience understanding the entire SDLC process and designing, developing, testing, troubleshooting, and debugging.
- Extensive experience in requirement analysis, traceability, functional integration, E2E testing, and the complete SDLC.
- Experience participating in Scrum, requirement gathering, offshore coordination, status meetings, design reviews, automation script writing, and production implementation.
- Strong knowledge of the payment life cycle and experience with different payment types and SDLC.
- Experience documenting requirement gaps, design issues, and open defects, and following up with stakeholders.
- Technical & Automation Skills involving Cucumber, Selenium, JAVA, SQL, Eclipse, Maven.
- Understanding of Cloud-based platforms, Microservices, APIs, and Data feeds.
