Responsibilities
- Lead the full testing lifecycle, including strategy, tooling, coverage, and return on investment
- Develop and maintain the overall QA strategy, test methodology, and quality oversight processes
- Create and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for user interfaces, APIs, and microservices
- Implement quality checkpoints and advocate for early testing integration in the development cycle
- Set and enforce testing standards, templates, and best practices in line with industry norms
- Manage performance, non-functional, and cross-browser compatibility testing initiatives
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to embed test automation into CI/CD workflows
- Enhance test coverage, reliability, and confidence in software releases
- Engage in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, program increment planning, and retrospectives
- Generate quality reports, assess risks, and advise on release readiness
- Conduct test code reviews, guide team members, and assist in debugging and root cause analysis
