Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams to meet deliverables under USAF Performance-Based Logistics (PBL) contracts, aligned with contractual terms and approved business cases
- Shape project strategies, programs, and operational methods within the functional domain and impacted business units
- Enhance team performance by improving quality, efficiency, and effectiveness
- Operate in accordance with commercial policies and practices, which may be influenced by role-specific responsibilities
- Exercise substantial influence over commercial priorities, with moderate independence in executing commercial agreements
- Apply advanced commercial judgment to achieve desired business outcomes
- Carry out contract performance activities linked to specific customers or programs
- Act as primary point of contact between the customer and internal teams, facilitating information exchange and request management
- Ensure timely issue resolution, keep customers informed on program progress, and negotiate changes, variations, and solutions while adhering to agreed contract terms
- Ensure compliance with contractual requirements for service, operations, performance, financial, and technical metrics
- Support proposal development and contract negotiations
- Contribute to strategic planning and policy formulation, ensuring execution within assigned areas
- Own profitability and customer satisfaction outcomes for designated contracts
- Collaborate with customer service, parts and transactional services, field service, repair operations, and related teams
- Serve as the liaison between internal departments and external customers for specific contracts
- Apply deep understanding of industry best practices and cross-functional integration
- Maintain awareness of competitive landscape and market differentiation factors
- Use sound judgment to resolve moderately complex problems across projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customer engagements
- Adopt fresh perspectives when evaluating existing solutions
- Influence strategic initiatives, projects, and programs within the functional area while upholding FLIGHT DECK principles
- Lead small-scale projects involving moderate risk and resource commitments
