The Lead Product Designer will lead UX strategy and design execution for the Hub team, shaping the future of construction technology. This role combines hands-on design, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver intuitive, scalable, and user-centered digital products.
Responsibilities
- Establish and communicate a clear user experience vision and strategy for the Hub team, ensuring it supports business objectives and meets user requirements.
- Lead the full design lifecycle for Hub products, from initial research and concept development through prototyping and final implementation.
- Own the end-to-end user experience across Hub products, maintaining consistency in UX patterns, interaction models, and visual design language.
- Partner with the design system team and collaborate closely with front-end leads and architects to evolve design standards and ensure alignment with technical architecture.
- Mentor, guide, and develop other designers within the Hub team to strengthen design capabilities.
- Define and lead the research strategy, conducting usability testing and pilot programs to inform design decisions with data.
- Work collaboratively across product, design, and engineering functions, partnering with product managers and developers to integrate UX throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Support design operations, roadmap planning, and process enhancements to improve delivery efficiency.
- Define and track UX quality metrics such as task success rates, time-to-value, adoption, and customer satisfaction scores, using insights to refine experiences.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in UX or product design, including leadership roles.
- Demonstrated experience shipping digital products, iterating on them, and managing multiple product lifecycles.
- Deep knowledge of Lean UX, Agile methodologies, and design systems.
- Solid understanding of product management principles and the ability to influence product roadmap decisions.
- Proficient in Figma and modern design tools, with experience using research and testing platforms such as Dovetail and Maze.
- Experience using ClickUp, JIRA, and Confluence for project and collaboration management.
- Strong interest in AI-driven design and the ability to thrive in a technology-forward environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in international teams across India, South Africa, and Europe.
- Fluent in English.
