Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of high-performance microservices in Java or Scala for real-time fraud detection systems.
- Design scalable architectures integrating large language models, vector search, prompt engineering, and retrieval-augmented generation patterns.
- Implement generative AI features including alert interpretation, anomaly summarization, synthetic data creation, and process automation.
- Develop cloud-native, containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes for deployment readiness.
- Collaborate with data science teams to deploy machine learning and generative AI models into production environments.
- Build APIs to support AI inference, model orchestration, and governance workflows.
- Ensure adherence to responsible AI principles, model risk management, and data privacy regulations.
- Guide engineering teams in continuous integration and delivery, DevOps practices, code quality, and system observability.
- Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of innovation and ongoing technical growth.
- Work closely with fraud analysis, reporting, and data governance teams across the organization.
- Contribute to defining the future-state architecture for enterprise fraud detection platforms.
- Assess emerging AI technologies and frameworks for potential enterprise-wide implementation.
- Support strategic planning and long-term roadmap development for AI-driven solutions.
Compensation
Expected base pay ranges from $150,000 to $210,000 annually at start of employment. Final offer is individualized and part of a broader compensation structure that may include incentives, bonuses, and benefits.
