Responsibilities
- Estimate project timelines, uncover dependencies, and create execution schedules.
- Create and run tests for functionality, performance, interoperability, and system stress conditions.
- Collaborate with silicon, architecture, and firmware development teams to grasp system design and define testing approaches.
- Conduct both manual and automated testing procedures.
- Build automated test frameworks while also executing hands-on testing.
- Validate signal integrity and protocol compliance at the physical and data link layers.
- Partner with engineering teams to isolate, diagnose, and resolve technical defects.
- Capture and interpret PCIe traffic using protocol analyzers to identify root causes.
- Run PRBS, loopback, and margining tests to evaluate system stability and tolerance.
- Support out-of-band testing and validate protocols including MCTP, I2C, and SPDM.
- Coordinate with hyperscalers and Tier 1 OEMs on test plans, issue resolution, and service-level commitments.
- Track and manage requirements throughout the firmware development lifecycle with full traceability.
- Guide and develop team members through mentorship and skill-building support.
- Serve as an advanced user of development and collaboration tools such as Git, Jira, and Confluence.
