About the Role

The Lead Family Mentor will oversee mentorship initiatives for families, ensuring consistent delivery of support services and acting as a primary point of contact for mentor teams and clinical partners.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate family mentor activities across assigned regions
  • Provide direct support to family members of patients in care programs
  • Train and supervise mentor team members to maintain service quality
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to align mentorship with treatment goals
  • Monitor engagement levels and track family participation metrics
  • Develop resources tailored to family education and emotional support needs
  • Facilitate group sessions and one-on-one mentoring meetings
  • Respond to urgent family concerns with timely and empathetic guidance
  • Maintain accurate records of all mentorship interactions
  • Ensure adherence to program protocols and confidentiality standards
  • Participate in regular team meetings and case reviews
  • Contribute to the improvement of mentorship curricula and materials
  • Model effective communication strategies for mentor team members
  • Support onboarding and ongoing development of new mentors
  • Coordinate scheduling to ensure consistent family coverage
  • Escalate complex cases to clinical leadership when appropriate
  • Promote a culture of empathy, inclusion, and active listening
  • Gather feedback from families to inform service enhancements
  • Stay current with best practices in family support and behavioral health
  • Assist in evaluating program effectiveness through data reporting
  • Uphold organizational values in all interactions with families and staff
  • Manage mentor team performance through regular check-ins
  • Address challenges in family engagement with targeted solutions
  • Support crisis intervention efforts as needed
  • Ensure all mentor activities comply with regulatory guidelines
