ACI Group is hiring a Lead Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of Python developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of software solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure technical feasibility.
  • Translate project requirements into clear and actionable technical specifications.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure the delivery of high-quality code and adherence to coding standards.
  • Debug and optimize performance to ensure scalability and reliability of applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, integrating best practices into the development process.
  • Drive innovation in development practices, continuously seeking improvements in development workflows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Python development, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Proficiency in Python frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, and Django.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL databases and query optimization.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a must.
  • Familiarity with design patterns and software architecture principles.
  • Proven experience in leading and mentoring development teams, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Strong understanding of software development best practices and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in version control systems like Git and familiarity with continuous integration and deployment tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

  • Good to have knowledge of front-end technologies like React and back-end technologies like Go.

We intend to grow our Bengaluru division long-term, investing heavily in talent and leadership.
