Responsibilities
- Design and deploy advanced automated manufacturing systems for customer products, with a focus on robotics and autonomous technology integration.
- Create application software using programming languages such as RAPID, KRL, Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Python, along with custom tooling for complex automated machinery and mechanical processes.
- Plan and lead evaluations of automation system capabilities and process applications using statistical analysis and Design of Experiments across the entire production workflow.
- Lead structured problem-solving initiatives for complex issues involving products, processes, components, and automation performance throughout manufacturing stages.
- Evaluate product designs for manufacturability and automation compatibility, providing technical feedback to design teams.
- Oversee AGV fleet operations, traffic coordination, and integration with warehouse and manufacturing execution systems.
- Configure and fine-tune industrial control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and industrial networks, for automated production lines.
