Axiom Software Solutions is hiring a Lead Engineer to coordinate technical responses to group changes, manage project forecasting and releases, and structure Bill of Materials (BoM) and CAD systems for major vehicle programs.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate technical responses to group changes.
- Manage project BMG forecasting & releasing, Project B releasing, and Project K releasing.
- Structure and maintain the Bill of Material (BoM).
- Ensure quality and audit standards for the Bill of Material & CAD structure.
- Structure and maintain CAD structures.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a reputed institution.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in the automotive industry.
- A minimum of 3 to 4 years working for a Volkswagen group company on the specified tools.
- Expertise in product development from concept to start of production.
- A strong understanding of design aspects for engineering changes and release in PLM, BoM, and CAD structuring for vehicle programs.
- Experience using BoM & CAD structuring applications within a Volkswagen group product design environment.
- Hands-on experience using a Kanban dashboard and actioning requests raised through tickets.
- A very good understanding of Agile methodology and its processes.
- Strong knowledge of Volkswagen group tools.
- Hands-on experience with ENVOCIA LCA, TI Syncro, Teamcenter with Active Workspace, CATIA V5 R32, Jira, and Tableau.
