STR is hiring a Lead DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Lead software teams in designing, building, and supporting infrastructure and deployment tools for operational software systems
  • Oversee customer environment integrations while guiding engineering teams to meet quality, reliability, and performance standards
  • Collaborate within Agile teams to develop and refine CI/CD pipelines tailored to diverse deployment scenarios
  • Maintain and support cloud-based platforms, including AWS, in unclassified settings
  • Set up and manage multiple CI/CD environments across varying security classification levels, emphasizing developer efficiency, system performance, and security alerting
  • Coordinate with corporate IT to ensure infrastructure tools meet reliability, compliance, and Department of Defense requirements
  • Mentor team members in DevOps methodologies and drive continuous improvement in development processes

  • Must hold an active U.S. Security Clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Expected to work 2-3 days per week at company or government facilities
  • Support applications deployed on classified operational networks
