NielsenIQ is hiring a Lead Data Scientist

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in trend analyses, multivariate statistics, sampling, bias reduction, indirect estimation, data aggregation techniques, automation, and generalization.
  • Expertise in Python programming, including data analysis and statistical packages such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-Learn.
  • Familiarity with Python standard library, particularly unittest and argparse modules.
  • Experience with Spark or other big data processing solutions.
  • Experience in machine learning and GenAI/AgenticAI applications.
  • Experience with cloud computing and storage, with a preference for MS Azure.
  • Experience with Docker and Linux command line.
  • Ability to quickly manipulate, analyze, and interpret large data sources.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English, suitable for working in a remote team with a global presence.
  • Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with strong analytical and technical skills.
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
