As the Lead Conversational AI Developer, you will lead end-to-end development of intelligent chatbot systems, from initial design through deployment and optimization. You'll use platforms such as Microsoft Bot Framework and Kore.ai to build scalable virtual assistants that enhance user engagement across digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement conversational workflows using Adaptive and Waterfall Dialogs within Azure Bot Framework v4
- Collaborate with product, design, and UX teams to translate user needs into functional conversational experiences
- Integrate NLP and NLU models to accurately interpret user intent and deliver context-aware responses
- Enhance interactions using Generative AI services, including Azure OpenAI and GPT, to improve personalization and response quality
- Deploy bots across web, mobile, and messaging platforms with consistent performance and usability
- Orchestrate backend integrations using Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and APIs, including Salesforce for case management and knowledge retrieval
- Store and manage conversation data using Azure Cosmos DB and monitor performance through telemetry and analytics
- Apply hybrid AI strategies that combine rule-based NLU with generative models to improve fallback handling and content generation
- Use Power BI to analyze user behavior, identify interaction drop-offs, and refine model accuracy
- Establish CI/CD pipelines to support seamless deployment across development, testing, and production environments
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree and bring at least three years of software development experience focused on conversational AI. Proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript, and backend web technologies is essential. Experience with Azure integration tools, middleware such as MuleSoft, and Salesforce APIs is required. You should also demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and a commitment to advancing AI-driven interactions.
Work Environment
