About the Role
You will lead the architectural direction for digital identity platforms, ensuring alignment with security standards, scalability needs, and business goals while guiding development teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain technical architecture for identity management systems
- Collaborate with security experts to enforce compliance with data protection regulations
- Lead integration of identity solutions across cloud and on-premise environments
- Mentor development teams on best practices in authentication and authorization
- Evaluate emerging technologies for identity verification and access control
- Drive adoption of standards such as OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SAML
- Work closely with product owners to translate business requirements into technical designs
- Ensure system resilience, scalability, and performance under load
- Support incident resolution and root cause analysis for identity-related issues
- Participate in vendor assessments for identity platforms and tools
- Facilitate cross-team alignment on identity architecture patterns
- Document architecture decisions and maintain solution blueprints
- Promote reusable components and identity-as-a-service models
- Lead proof-of-concept initiatives for new identity technologies
- Advocate for user privacy and zero-trust security principles
- Coordinate with DevOps to streamline identity service deployment
- Ensure auditability and logging standards are met in identity flows
- Guide selection of cryptographic methods and key management practices
- Contribute to roadmaps for identity lifecycle management
- Support regulatory audits with technical documentation and system walkthroughs
- Foster collaboration between security, development, and operations teams
- Stay current with industry trends in digital identity and federated access
- Deliver technical presentations to internal and external stakeholders
