Thomson Reuters is looking for a Key Account Manager for Reuters Breakingviews to manage and grow a portfolio of B2B subscription accounts. This is a quota-carrying role where you will use a consultative sales approach to drive new business, maximize client satisfaction, and achieve revenue targets.

What You'll Do

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of B2B subscription accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Identify and evaluate new market opportunities to expand the Reuters Breakingviews subscriber base.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans and sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to key decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across Breakingviews and Reuters Professional to deliver seamless customer experiences.
  • Accurately forecast revenue and provide regular pipeline and performance reporting.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and client needs to identify new sales and upsell opportunities.
  • Negotiate and close contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Present complex information effectively, adapting communication style to suit various audiences.
  • Contribute to the development of new principles, concepts, and strategies for the business unit.

What We're Looking For

  • Demonstrable experience selling B2B subscriptions or publishing products.
  • A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and revenue targets.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of high-performing, cross-functional teams.
  • A consultative sales approach, with the ability to understand and anticipate client needs.
  • A rigorous and analytical approach to the market, including prospective opportunities and renewals.
  • Experience building and executing account strategies for enterprise clients.
  • Adept at managing complex sales cycles and building relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Nice to Have

  • Experience ideally within media, publishing, or financial/insurance sectors.
