Responsibilities
- Identify, delegate, draft, and structure news content for broadcast.
- Create compelling headlines, promotional teases, and reporter introductions.
- Produce original scripts, promotional clips, headlines, and topical segments.
- Offer story concepts and take part in daily editorial planning and team discussions.
- Support the full production process, including content development and on-air elements for news programs.
- Work with producers, supervisors, and camera operators to develop and deliver news segments and special reports for scheduled or breaking stories.
- Coordinate with editorial staff and management to share updates on local news developments and field progress.
Compensation
Internship is compensated at $17.00 per hour for undergraduate students; paid company holidays included for full-time interns.
