Unifin, Inc is looking for a Junior Web Developer to join our dynamic team and help deliver exceptional web experiences to our clients. In this fully remote role, you will assist in the development, testing, and maintenance of web applications while collaborating closely with designers and senior developers.
What You'll Do
- Assist in the development, testing, and maintenance of web applications and websites.
- Collaborate with designers, senior developers, and project managers to deliver high-quality products.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, primarily in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across multiple browsers and devices.
- Participate in code reviews and team meetings.
- Stay up to date with emerging web technologies and best practices.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Proficiency with the Laravel framework.
- Proficiency with VueJs.
- Basic understanding of version control systems, preferably BitBucket.
- Knowledge of responsive and mobile-first web design.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with backend technologies like Node.js or Python.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
- Exposure to content management systems such as WordPress or Drupal.
- Understanding of SEO principles.
