We’re seeking a Junior Software Engineer with direct experience in accounting or financial analysis to help shape the future of financial automation. In this role, you’ll work within a fast-paced technology environment where your domain knowledge in finance will directly influence software design and system improvements.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with engineering and finance teams to build and maintain systems that support financial operations.
- Contribute across the software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment, focusing on backend services and data workflows.
- Use your background in accounting to identify inefficiencies and enhance automation in reconciliation and reporting processes.
- Develop and maintain APIs and database interactions, ensuring accuracy and performance.
- Support system evaluations, tool integration, and process optimization aligned with project goals and compliance standards.
What We’re Looking For
- Professional experience in accounting, financial analysis, or a related field.
- Familiarity with financial operations including reconciliation, reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or Go, with experience in backend development.
- Hands-on experience with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Understanding of software development methodologies, version control (Git), and testing practices.
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.
Technology Environment
You’ll work with a modern stack including Golang, Python, Typescript, React, and React Native, backed by PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and AWS infrastructure. The environment leverages Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD, and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki to support scalable, test-driven development.

Compensation and Growth
