Join a growing software team as a Junior QA Engineer in a fully remote, part-time capacity. Your primary responsibility will be testing a mobile application across iOS and Android devices, ensuring functionality, usability, and stability before each release. You'll conduct thorough functional and regression testing, document issues clearly, and verify fixes to maintain a high standard of quality.
What You'll Do
- Test application features on mobile devices and web platforms
- Identify, log, and track bugs using established reporting methods
- Validate updates and new releases prior to deployment
- Help develop and maintain test cases for ongoing use
- Support automation efforts with basic scripting when needed
What We're Looking For
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Experience in QA or software testing roles
- Ownership of both iOS and Android devices for testing purposes
- Strong focus on accuracy and consistency
- Clear and timely communication
- Availability during overlapping Central European Time (CET) hours
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Familiarity with Flutter-based applications
- Experience using bug-tracking systems
- Basic knowledge of scripting or test automation
Work & Compensation
This is a remote independent contractor position with a flexible schedule, provided you can meet availability requirements during CET windows. The role offers up to $1,000 USD per month, based on interview performance. Start date is immediate.
