Responsibilities
- Act as a primary point of contact for customers, managing procurement requests with a focus on excellence, clear communication, and timely execution of SaaS purchases and renewals.
- Own the daily Intake-to-Procure process, ensuring SaaS purchases and renewals for a tech-heavy client base are handled with precision.
- Learn the art of high-stakes negotiation by working with the senior team to optimize pricing and contract terms using Sastrify’s benchmarking database and negotiation playbooks.
- Collaborate closely with Tool Owners at customer companies to understand needs, prioritize upcoming renewals, and ensure all documentation is airtight.
- Conduct research on SaaS tools to provide customers with market insights and pricing comparisons that support their purchasing decisions.
- Build and maintain functional relationships with vendor sales teams to streamline communication and approval processes for customers.
Requirements
- University degree in Business, Economics, IT, or a related field.
- Initial professional experience (e.g., internships or 1-2 years of full-time work) in procurement, operations, or customer-facing roles.
- Client-first mindset, with enjoyment in interacting with people and a natural ability to build trust and maintain professional relationships.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and excitement to work hands-on with various high-growth clients simultaneously.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks without losing sight of the details.
- Comfortable with data and spreadsheets, and eager to learn how to track savings and manage renewal pipelines.
- Fluency in both German and English is essential.
