IOTA GROUP is looking for a Junior Data Scientist to design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines for complex geospatial and 3D data. Your contributions will directly impact the delivery of innovative solutions to enterprise clients.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and transforming large volumes of complex data, particularly geospatial and 3D datasets.
- Work with cloud-native solutions to analyse massive datasets efficiently.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of machine learning engineering practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.
What We're Looking For
- A Master's degree level/M2 or equivalent background in programming, mathematics, and algorithms.
- Mastery of Python, particularly scientific libraries like Numpy, Pandas, OpenCV, and Scikit-Learn.
- Strong theoretical and applied skills in computer vision and 3D geometry, including 3D reconstruction, constrained optimization, morphology, and clustering.
- Solid knowledge of Deep Learning and general Machine Learning, with experience in specific computer vision tasks (semantic segmentation, object detection, image classification) and PyTorch.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and Git.
- French and English written and oral proficiency.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of GIS/remote sensing tools for data georeferencing, such as GDAL, QGIS, geopandas, or rasterio.
