The role involves developing and maintaining backend systems in a web3 environment, supporting decentralized applications with scalable and secure infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement backend services for decentralized applications
- Collaborate with engineers and product teams to define technical requirements
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Support smart contract integration with off-chain systems
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot production issues
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation
- Work with blockchain data indexing and querying tools
- Ensure system security and data integrity
- Optimize backend processes for efficiency and scalability
- Stay current with evolving web3 technologies and protocols
Nice to Have
- Experience contributing to open-source projects
- Exposure to Ethereum or EVM-based networks
- Familiarity with The Graph or similar indexing protocols
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools
- Understanding of cryptographic primitives and key management
