Responsibilities
- Operate safely on and near high-voltage energized electrical systems
- Install electrical conduit systems in compliance with National Electrical Code standards
- Establish and manage temporary power setups for job sites
- Implement and service grounding systems for equipment and structures
- Verify electrical component functionality through continuity and voltage testing
- Cut, shape, and install conduit as detailed in construction plans
- Mount electrical enclosures, panels, switches, outlets, and lighting fixtures
- Connect wires and cables to electrical devices including breakers and control panels
- Follow direction and guidance from a licensed supervisor or foreman
- Perform effectively under pressure during unexpected delays or urgent situations
- Collaborate positively with team members in a group environment
- Understand and contribute to service installation processes
- Demonstrate dependability and consistency in completing assigned duties
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures
- Maintain focus on precision and achieving desired outcomes
- Possess working knowledge of electrical tools and equipment
- Handle physically demanding tasks regularly
