Responsibilities
- Operate safely around high-voltage live equipment
- Install electrical conduit systems in compliance with the National Electrical Code
- Establish and manage temporary power setups on job sites
- Implement and service grounding systems for machinery and structures
- Test electrical parts for continuity and correct voltage levels per project requirements
- Cut, shape, and install conduit based on blueprint instructions
- Mount junction boxes, electrical panels, switches, outlets, and lighting fixtures
- Connect wires and cables to electrical devices including breakers, control panels, and distribution units
- Collaborate under the direction of a licensed supervisor or lead electrician
- Perform effectively under stress, especially during unforeseen delays or urgent deadlines
- Work cooperatively within a team environment
- Understand and contribute to service development in electrical systems
- Demonstrate reliability, responsibility, and consistency in completing assigned duties
- Follow all safety protocols as directed without exception
- Maintain attention to detail and focus on achieving results
- Be proficient with electrical tools and equipment
- Handle physically demanding tasks regularly

- Must hold a valid Texas Journeyman license issued by TDLR
- Must provide own tools
- Must have reliable transportation

- Capable of enduring long shifts involving prolonged standing, bending, or kneeling
- Possess strength to lift heavy materials (50 pounds or more) and manual dexterity for precise work
- Able to adapt to diverse work positions and environments, including confined areas and elevated platforms
- Must have clear vision, including color differentiation, to identify wiring and components
- Demonstrate strong hand-eye coordination for accurate handling of tools and electrical parts
- Maintain balance when working on ladders, scaffolding, or at heights
