About the Role
The Sales Engineer will partner with the sales team to win new business by providing technical leadership throughout the customer acquisition process, from initial discovery to solution validation, ensuring alignment between platform capabilities and client needs.
Responsibilities
- Collide with sales teams to understand customer objectives and technical needs
- Design and deliver tailored product demonstrations aligned with client use cases
- Respond to technical inquiries during the sales cycle
- Develop proof-of-concept solutions to validate product fit
- Translate business requirements into technical configurations
- Support RFP and procurement processes with technical documentation
- Identify integration challenges and propose effective workarounds
- Articulate product strengths in relation to competitor offerings
- Collaborate with product teams to relay customer feedback
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of platform features and updates
- Assist in defining data transformation and API strategies
- Troubleshoot technical obstacles during pilot phases
- Guide customers through evaluation and deployment planning
- Participate in technical validation sessions with client IT teams
- Ensure proposed solutions align with security and compliance standards
- Contribute to sales training on technical differentiators
- Track engagement progress using CRM tools
- Escalate product limitations to engineering when necessary
- Support go-to-market initiatives for new features
- Maintain documentation of common solution patterns
