Responsibilities
- Lead and engage in daily sanitation tasks such as cleaning, disinfecting, waste handling, and pest prevention to meet operational schedules and standards.
- Perform routine facility inspections to evaluate sanitation levels, detect deficiencies, and apply timely corrections.
- Model exemplary hygiene and cleanliness behaviors across all work areas.
- Work with management to create, review, and update sanitation policies and operational guidelines.
- Manage stock levels of cleaning supplies, tools, and chemicals, ensuring proper storage and usage efficiency.
- Educate and guide sanitation team members on correct cleaning methods, equipment handling, safety rules, and personal hygiene.
- Offer consistent guidance and feedback to ensure staff follow sanitation and safety protocols correctly.
- Promote a respectful, collaborative workplace that values teamwork, communication, and ongoing development.
- Advocate for a strong safety culture and ensure team compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
- Recognize and address potential safety risks associated with sanitation activities.
- Partner with safety personnel to deliver training, support safety initiatives, and examine workplace incidents.
- Maintain adherence to all relevant sanitation regulations, internal policies, and industry standards.
- Enforce quality checks to verify sanitation processes meet required benchmarks and legal requirements.
- Coordinate with quality assurance staff to resolve sanitation issues affecting product safety or quality.
- Identify ways to improve sanitation workflows and apply practical innovations to boost performance and sustainability.
- Stay informed about advancements in sanitation technology, industry standards, and regulatory updates to recommend operational upgrades.
