Mactores is seeking a Java Engineer to lead efforts in Application and Database Modernization. You will join the Data Engineering and Data Science team, focusing on transforming and upgrading legacy systems to modern standards. This is a full-time, remote position.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement modernization strategies for existing Java applications and databases.
- Build scalable and maintainable solutions to replace legacy systems.
- Collaborate with the data team to ensure modernized systems meet current and future data needs.
- Write clean, efficient, and documented code throughout the modernization process.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience modernizing Java-based applications and relational databases.
- Strong proficiency in Java and related enterprise frameworks.
- Experience with database migration strategies and tools.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, full-time capacity.
Work Mode
This is a full-time, remote position. Candidates should be based in or able to work from Mumbai, MH.
