Responsibilities
- Deliver in-person and remote technical assistance for computers, mobile devices, software, and operating systems including Windows and macOS.
- Configure, prepare, and distribute workstations for new employees.
- Safely recover and erase company equipment from staff who are leaving.
- Oversee the upkeep of on-site server rooms and network infrastructure spaces.
- Support remote infrastructure teams by physically inspecting and assisting with network hardware such as switches, routers, firewalls, and patch panels.
- Diagnose and fix issues with collaboration tools like Zoom Rooms, projectors, and audio systems used in workplaces.
- Keep a precise and current record of all local IT equipment—including laptops, monitors, peripherals, and software licenses—and manage responsible e-waste recycling.
- Log, monitor, and resolve user support tickets using an ITSM platform such as Jira or ServiceNow, meeting defined service level agreements.
- Liaise with internet providers, equipment suppliers, and facility managers to address connectivity issues, hardware repairs, and building-specific IT requirements.
