Responsibilities
- Create and manage comprehensive project plans covering scope, timelines, milestones, resources, dependencies, assumptions, constraints, and critical paths.
- Clarify and record project goals, deliverables, success criteria, and outcomes aligned with organizational objectives.
- Coordinate planning efforts across internal teams, external partners, vendors, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Promote collaboration across functions to confirm requirements, planning assumptions, dependencies, and resource demands.
- Assist in building business cases, cost projections, funding requests, and documentation needed for project approvals.
- Set up and manage project governance structures, including charters, decision-making authority, reporting standards, and stage reviews.
- Lead governance meetings, steering committee sessions, workshops, and stakeholder discussions.
- Drive communication and engagement with stakeholders to ensure transparency and support decision-making.
- Produce and deliver project status reports, risk analyses, recommendations, and materials for leadership and governance bodies.
- Offer analysis and guidance to inform investment choices, project authorization, and strategic planning.
- Detect, evaluate, and address project risks, issues, assumptions, constraints, and interdependencies.
- Track project progress relative to approved plans and take action to manage risks, issues, and delays.
- Review and manage change requests, analyzing effects on scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, and goals.
- Keep essential project records current, including plans, risk and issue logs, stakeholder strategies, and status updates.
- Coordinate input from consultants and vendors on planning, assessments, design phases, and business case preparation.
- Ensure all project activities follow company policies, governance rules, and project management standards.
