Responsibilities
- Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders across departments
- Collaborate with technical teams to translate business needs into system specifications
- Conduct process analysis to identify areas for improvement and automation
- Support the implementation of new software solutions within established timelines
- Facilitate communication between non-technical staff and IT professionals
- Validate system functionality through testing and user feedback sessions
- Maintain traceability between business needs and technical deliverables
- Assist in change management activities related to system rollouts
- Develop training materials and user guides for new applications
- Monitor project progress and report on milestones and risks
- Ensure compliance with state and federal data handling regulations
- Participate in agile project meetings including planning and reviews
- Analyze data flows and recommend optimizations for system integration
- Identify and document potential system constraints or limitations
- Support user acceptance testing with frontline staff and supervisors
- Work with data teams to ensure accurate reporting and metrics
- Assist in the prioritization of backlog items based on business impact
- Provide input on system design to improve usability and accessibility
- Track and resolve issues identified during testing phases
- Ensure documentation is current and accessible to relevant teams
- Coordinate with vendors on integration and support matters
- Help define key performance indicators for system success
- Contribute to post-implementation evaluations and lessons learned
- Promote consistent use of business analysis standards and practices
- Support continuous improvement efforts across IT projects
