As an IT Helpdesk Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining the reliability and efficiency of internal technology systems. You'll provide direct technical assistance to users, diagnosing and resolving issues related to desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and enterprise applications. Support is delivered primarily through phone and remote sessions, with a strong emphasis on first-contact resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to service requests and technical inquiries from users across the organization
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues on Windows and macOS devices
- Provision and configure new workstations and mobile devices for onboarding employees
- Support enterprise environments including Office 365, Exchange, and cloud identity systems
- Assist with user training and documentation to improve system adoption and efficiency
- Escalate complex issues appropriately while maintaining ownership of the support process
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years in an IT helpdesk or technical support role
- Working knowledge of Windows 11, macOS, and management tools such as JAMF
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and identity platforms like Entra ID
- Familiarity with endpoint management via SCCM or Intune
- Understanding of client networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- High attention to detail and a commitment to user satisfaction
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale IT environments
- Background in meeting room technology setup and troubleshooting
- Scripting experience, particularly with PowerShell
- Printer and peripheral support experience
