The IT Engineer plays a key role in maintaining reliable technology services at the Casablanca facility. You will serve as the primary point of contact for end users, diagnosing and resolving technical issues across workstations, software, and network systems. Support is delivered onsite, with a focus on timely resolution of service desk tickets and minimizing disruption to operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct IT assistance to employees at the Casablanca plant, addressing requests through phone, remote tools, or in-person support
- Log, track, and resolve service incidents using the Global Service Desk ITSM platform, adhering to defined SLAs
- Set up and configure new PC hardware and software in compliance with company standards
- Monitor system performance, escalate complex issues, and assist in restoring services during outages
- Collaborate with global IT and engineering teams to troubleshoot infrastructure and application problems
- Document technical processes, incidents, changes, and asset inventories with accuracy
- Support after-hours and on-call requirements during critical events or system upgrades
- Lead local IT initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement of site operations
- Advise teams on efficient use of enterprise applications, particularly ERP and manufacturing systems
Qualifications
Candidates should hold a degree in an IT-related engineering field and bring at least five years of experience in technical support roles. Strong familiarity with Windows environments—both server and desktop—is essential, along with hands-on experience in PC hardware setup and maintenance. You must be skilled in analytical thinking, proactive problem solving, and user training across all organizational levels.
Fluency in English is required to communicate effectively with global teams. French language skills are beneficial. The ideal candidate is customer-oriented, self-driven, and capable of managing projects independently. Flexibility to support off-hours activities is expected when business needs arise.
