Responsibilities
- Define and manage the operating model, platform strategy, and governance framework for sales and service technologies centered on Salesforce, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and enterprise architecture.
- Lead transformation initiatives across sales operations, lead-to-cash, quote-to-cash, professional services automation, service delivery, financial handoffs, reporting, and operational maturity.
- Ensure alignment between business outcomes, business analyst-defined requirements, approved solution designs, technical decisions, resource planning, and long-term platform direction.
- Facilitate decision-making across executive, business, technical, and vendor stakeholders to drive prioritization, accountability, change adoption, and measurable results.
- Collaborate with analysts, architects, and project managers to convert business needs into process models, requirements, scalable solutions, and implementation plans.
- Manage complex technology projects and cross-functional initiatives, coordinating timelines, dependencies, risks, communications, and delivery commitments.
- Maintain disciplined backlog and sprint management in coordination with project teams, ensuring visibility into scope, priorities, dependencies, and delivery progress.
- Optimize resource allocation across technology streams by balancing internal capacity, vendor support, technical constraints, business priorities, and delivery risks.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership across Salesforce and related platforms, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, PSA, Data Cloud, Flow, Apex, Lightning components, APIs, integrations, middleware, and sales engagement tools.
- Manage integration, data flow, licensing, vendor coordination, and adoption for platforms supporting prospecting, account data, sales engagement, pipeline, service delivery, and customer operations.
- Evaluate and challenge solution designs and technical decisions to ensure scalability, security, maintainability, performance, and alignment with business processes.
- Ensure platform health, security, and scalability through management of technical debt, data quality, access controls, integrations, system limits, licensing, vendor governance, and operational stability.
- Oversee Salesforce DevOps practices, including sandbox management, metadata control, CI/CD pipelines, release coordination, and collaboration with QA to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Drive innovation in AI and automation, including Agentforce, Einstein, and Data Cloud, while maintaining governance, access controls, validation, and operational readiness.
- Establish and track key performance indicators for technology delivery, platform health, backlog status, release performance, adoption rates, and business outcomes.
- Lead and develop internal delivery teams while managing external vendors, managed service providers, and implementation partners to enhance capacity and quality.
