Responsibilities
- Deliver initial technical support to employees working remotely and on-site.
- Diagnose and resolve problems related to computers, software, network access, printers, and audio-visual systems.
- Handle setup and termination procedures for staff, including device provisioning, account creation, and permission management.
- Oversee business tools such as Google Workspace, Jira, Slack, and similar platforms.
- Set up and maintain laptops running macOS and Windows, as well as mobile devices using iOS and Android.
- Track company hardware assets and manage lifecycle activities like upgrades, repairs, and replacements.
- Support conference room technology, including video conferencing equipment, wireless connectivity, and office peripherals.
- Refer advanced technical issues to higher-level IT resources and work with internal teams or external vendors to resolve them.
- Take ownership of minor IT initiatives and assist with broader organizational technology efforts.
- Enhance efficiency in IT operations through documentation, automation, and integration of AI-based tools.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, service desk, or related administrative roles.
- Proven experience supporting devices running macOS and Windows operating systems.
- Background in managing Google Workspace or equivalent platforms like Microsoft 365 or Azure AD.
- Experience handling user accounts, access rights, and employee lifecycle processes.
- Working knowledge of ticketing systems, with preference given to Jira.
- Solid problem-solving, time management, and organizational abilities.
- Customer-oriented mindset with clear communication skills for technical topics.
- Ability to stay composed and professional when handling multiple urgent requests.
- Inquisitive and team-oriented attitude with a drive to learn emerging technologies.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with JumpCloud, Confluence, Monday.com, Slack administration, Google Meet hardware, device imaging, or asset tracking systems.
- Knowledge of IT security principles, automated workflows, and access control methods.
- Hold certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, HDI-CSR, or CCNA.
