Responsibilities
- Process and track intellectual property filings according to established procedures
- Maintain accurate records of patent and trademark documentation
- Communicate with internal teams to ensure deadlines are met
- Review incoming legal notices and correspondence for required actions
- Support the preparation of responses to intellectual property office actions
- Monitor docketing systems for upcoming deadlines
- Assist in the validation and verification of filing requirements across jurisdictions
- Ensure data integrity in IP management databases
- Coordinate with external agents and offices as needed
- Prepare and submit forms for patent and trademark applications
- Manage document workflows for IP-related submissions
- Identify discrepancies in filings and initiate corrections
- Provide administrative support during IP prosecution phases
- Organize and archive case files electronically
- Stay current with changes in IP regulations and procedures
- Assist in training team members on process updates
- Generate reports on filing statuses and metrics
- Support audit readiness by maintaining complete records
- Follow internal compliance protocols for data handling
- Escalate complex issues to senior staff promptly
